Toastmasters Clubs Hold ‘Tall Tales’ Contest Again After 20 Years

Doha: PQASS Toastmasters Club, Zeal Toastmasters Club, HSE Toastmasters Club and Marathi Toastmasters Clubs of Area 8 clubs, Division B, District 116 successfully hosted the Tall Tales competition on December 1, 2020 on the Zoom online platform.

The event was open to all Toastmasters in District 116 and thirteen enthusiastic members competed with enthusiasm. The contest was lined with speeches full of exaggeration, fiction and fun. Priya Shembekar, Shareef Mihlar and Anupama Kasibhatla emerged as winners.

The reunion drew a room full of over 180 viewers, including toastmasters and non-toastmasters, who attended the Tall Tale speech competition which was held almost after 20 years in Qatar.

The competition was launched under the leadership of Chief Justice Lancy D’Souza from Mumbai, India.

Singaraju KS Competition President and Competition Director Chandrashekhar Dudhe performed their roles in their own styles, providing a great experience for viewers.

District Director Thalayan K, Division B Director Riana Pinto and other senior Toastmasters officials addressed the audience during the event, which went smoothly and efficiently thanks to the tireless efforts of the team. Support.
