‘Speaker In You’ improves public speaking skills of business leaders and higher education students

Graduation of the previous batch
The âSpeaker in Youâ is a program designed to help business leaders and higher education students develop their public speaking and presentation skills, especially in their respective contexts. The next batch will start on Wednesdays and Fridays 26 and 28 May. Sessions will run from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with some taking place via Zoom and others on-site.
Whether a business leader or higher education student wishes to advance their personal growth, take the business to the next level, or inspire, persuade and motivate others, they must be able to communicate their ideas clearly. . , structured and captivating for a group of people. This program will teach them how to deliver these exciting speeches through a series of carefully selected speech lessons and projects.
Twelve three-hour sessions will be used to teach the skills. Each session will include instruction and practice in public speaking, as well as the opportunity to learn from other experienced speakers.
The skills will be taught and practiced in a friendly and non-threatening environment. Each lot will not include more than eight to ten participants. They will learn with others who have the same goal as them. Counselors who have already shuddered at the idea of ââpublic speaking but have successfully developed their public speaking skills will guide them through the experiential learning journey. There are no lecturers or professors; only experienced speakers who have walked in your shoes.
In addition, this program is designed to provide ample opportunities for students to acquire and develop the skills necessary to be an effective and confident public speaker. It is structured around a series of twenty-four 20-30 minute lessons taught by counselors on topics such as “Demonstrating Confidence in Public Speaking”, “Visual Elements of Public Speaking” and âDrafting and presentation of a proposalâ. Along with these sessions, there are additional activities that are more engaging and provide hands-on learning opportunities. These include the seven speeches prepared by the participants, classroom exercises and discussions between speakers and advisers.
