Residents who all stay in the Mussafah area may have heard of Mussafah Toastmasters, a club of toastmasters serving the community. Toastmasters International is an educational, nonprofit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a global network of clubs. Based in Englewood, Colorado – USA, the organization has over 300,000 members in more than 15,800 clubs in 149 countries. Although Mussafah has many residential communities that include people with different work backgrounds, the Toastmasters program has helped shape many of them. Current president Deepak Deth said the club has been getting a lot of calls since the start of the pandemic because people were really looking for a platform to improve themselves, and knowing the benefits of Toastmasters, the majority joined quickly with no backs. -thought. Mussafah Toastmasters celebrated a decade in 2021 and many founders are still with the club, inspiring new members. Now the club is running a membership campaign to attract new members and those interested can get in touch with the Vice President of Membership – Mukesh Achari.
