The Bear is a monthly storytelling contest in Berlin, where 8 randomly-selected storytellers share a 5-minute, true, personal tale based on the evening’s theme. (May theme: WONDERS).
We celebrate the art of raconteur in a world that is drowning in information and starving for wisdom. People come together as strangers and leave connected by their shared human experience. One audience member called it, “Dessert for the Heart“.

Teresa is a member of the Board of Directors for Toastmasters International. Teresa has spoken worldwide on
communicating more effective. Her most recent engagements include London, Dublin, Bangkok, Abidjan, Saudi Arabia,
United Arab Emirates and Johannesburg. Teresa is the Founding Director of Dukes Consultancy, specialising in sowing
the seeds of confidence that help bring out your natural qualities to communicate more effectively. She has over 18
years of corporate and public speaking experience and provides coaching, speaking and training services to her clients.
As a Certified World Class Speaking Coach, Teresa works with individuals of all levels from apprentice to CEO helping
them to be heard, understood and most importantly – remembered.
