Updates: Friday 19 May at the Bear!
Have plans for Friday night in Berlin?
Join us for an evening of storytelling, live music and lively audience interaction!
The Bear is a monthly storytelling contest in Berlin, where 8 randomly-selected storytellers share a 5-minute, true, personal tale based on the evening’s theme. (May theme: WONDERS).
We celebrate the art of raconteur in a world that is drowning in information and starving for wisdom. People come together as strangers and leave connected by their shared human experience. One audience member called it, “Dessert for the Heart“.
If you would like to join us on Friday, May 19, with or without a story, look for Khushi Pasquale in the Estrel Hotel lobby at 19 hrs. sharp. She will lead the way to the Meeet Pavilion, Chausseestr. 86, Berlin-Mitte.
Conference guests receive discount tickets for 5 euros. Seats are limited! Reservations here.

Inspiring Leaders (Keynote)
We all have a part to play in empowering individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. I believe that an effective leader
- one who has knowledge and understanding of the different leadership types and methodologies;
- one who can learn how others work and adapt their own style to accommodate this; and
- one who encourages participation, teamwork, and inclusivity throughout their tenure.
Let’s explore seven (7) qualities of an effective leader. By identifying a few qualities of an effective leader this means we can easily
identify members who have the potential to be our future leaders.
When was the last time you encouraged someone to take a leap?
When will be your next time?
Who will you be tapping on the shoulder today?
